Course Details
The Provide responsible gambling services (RSG) course contains the unit of competency SITHGAM022 from the nationally endorsed Hospitality & Tourism Training Package (SIT).
This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide responsible gambling services, and to assist those customers who have display signs of problematic gambling behaviours.
Duration may take up to six hours to complete online depending on experience and previously acquired understanding. This program includes detailed learning content and comprehensive assessment.
You will be given access to your course for a period of 90 days (3 months) from your enrolment date, if you need an extension after this time to complete your course please call us on 1300 122 287 to arrange this
Assessment
The online RSG course is divided up into sections, and to ensure knowledge retention for the learner there is an assessment after each section. There are a variety of different question types including multiple choice, drag and drop, sort, short answer, and verbal assessment.
Zealifi will determine the support needs of our learners by asking our learner to complete a language, literacy, and numeracy support indicator, which is available upon request. This is completed prior to training and assessment to assess the learner’s suitability for their desired course and to identify if additional support may be required. Zealifi wants to ensure we can provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Certificate
The statement of attainment on successful completion of the course is accepted in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. This will be emailed to you. If you wish to obtain a paper copy of your statement of attainment there will be an additional charge of $15.00.
